 Volunteer Opportunities There are endless opportunities for volunteer work in animal rescue. Below is a list of the most common opportunities. If you are interested in volunteering for any of these opportunities, please see the files at the bottom of this web page. The forms can be sent to us either by mail, scan & email, or drop-off at Petsmart any Saturday between Noon - 4pm. - Foster homes for cats & dogs
- Transporting cats/dogs to/from veterinary clinics and/or adoption event locations
- Phone work, paperwork, and other volunteer work
- Adoption follow-ups
- Placement Program assistant --photography, writing, phone and/or mailings
- Website Coordinator
- Adoption Screeners
- Publicity: writing and or phone follow-up
- Fundraising: planning and event-day volunteers
- Distribution: putting up posters for adoption and special events
- Special Events Coordinator to organize events
- Donation Jar / Toy Jar Program Coordinator
- Animal Food Donation Coordinator
- Cage Cleaner @ Petsmart – one night/day per week
- Laundry Fairy – help w/ laundry from Petsmart cat cages
- Catnip toy maker
- Adoption day setup – setup cages & tables at Petsmart evening before adoptions
- And I'm sure we've missed something....
